There are more than 50 waterfalls in Sanbaishan Mountain, forming more than 20 streams, which finally converge into the Dongjiang River, which is the source of drinking water for Hong Kong compatriots, so this place is also known as "the source of the Dongjiang River", and in 2000, it was named "the first batch of the National Action to Protect the Mother River".
