Sanbai mountains are the common name of the peaks on the southeast border of Anyuan County, the source of the Dongjiang River, the birthplace of drinking water for Guangdong and Hong Kong residents, and the only tourist attraction in China that has the meaning of thinking about the source of drinking water for Hong Kong compatriots. Three hundred mountain is now a national scenic spot, a National Forest Park, a national 4A scenic spot, a youth national education base in Hong Kong, and the first batch of ecological education demonstration bases for the protection of mother river in China.

     With a total area of 197 square kilometers and a core area of 36 square kilometers, the scenic spot has five major tourist areas, including fu'ao pond, Jiuqu River, Dongfeng Lake, Yangtian lake and Jianfeng pen. The forest coverage rate of 300 mountains is 98%, and the animal and plant resources are very rich, including 1702 species of 271 families of higher plants and more than 300 species of rare plants; There are 1361 species of wild animals, belonging to 38 species of higher animals under national key protection. It is an important biological gene bank in South China. The average annual temperature of 300 mountains is 15.1 ℃, and the maximum value of negative oxygen ions in the air is 100000 / cm ³， It is known as "summer resort" and "natural oxygen bar".

Sanbai mountain cableway

     The Sanbai mountain cableway is located in the national 5A scenic spot -Sanbai mountain, which has been officially put into operation. The lower station building of the cableway is located at the foot of Sanbai mountain, the three hundred Mountain Tourist Service Center, and the upper station building at the end is located in fu'ao pond. With a total length of 2567m and an elevation difference of 440m, the one-way passenger volume reaches 2000 passengers per hour, and the fastest one-way operation time is about 8 minutes.

Dongfeng Lake

 Dongfeng Lake is a medium-sized reservoir at the source of Dongjiang River. It was built in 1966 with a dam height of 47.4m; The dam crest arc is 113.8m long, the reservoir capacity is 11 million m3, the East-West length is about 5km, and the North-South width is 50 ~ 120m. Dongfeng Lake scenic area spans Dongfeng Lake and the mountains on both sides, with a total area of 11 square kilometers. The green mountains on both sides are green, and the green trees are hidden. The main scenic spots include Gaoxia flying rainbow, general chair, general rock, sanbogong temple, Guanyin sending children, Hanfeng beach, Wang Po herding horses, lovers tree, etc. Tourists take a boat into the mountains to enjoy the scenery of the mountains and rivers, just like entering a paradise, and feel the poetic and picturesque feeling of "boat walking on the blue waves, people swimming in the painting".

Fuaotang

Fuaotang, also known as "volcanic yaochi", covers an area of more than 300 mu and an altitude of about 900 meters. It is a natural small mountain basin. More than 800 million years ago, it was a crater. After the volcanic eruption, a huge annular crater was formed. Rainwater and surrounding forest crevice water gathered here to form the lake we see now. The lake maintains a certain water level throughout the year and never dries up, so we also call it "source volcanic lake".

The first waterfall of Dongjiang River

 The first waterfall of Dongjiang River is composed of Fuao pond and streams on the mountain. The single-stage drop of the waterfall is more than 120 meters. It is the most frequent waterfall with the largest single-stage drop found in the scenic spot. It has magnificent momentum, high cliffs on both sides and towering ancient trees. The view in front of the waterfall is wide, with green mountains and boundless forest in the distance, which makes people relaxed and happy. The words "Dongjiangyuan" on the stone wall were inscribed by Ye Xuanping, former vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.

Siyuan Baoding

 Siyuan Baoding was built in 2007 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. Its appearance is based on the Dake Ding of the Western Zhou Dynasty. It is a three legged round Ding. Siyuan Baoding is 4.65 meters high and weighs 4.65 tons, implying that the distance from Hong Kong to 300 mountains is 465 kilometers. The diameter is 330 cm, which echoes the name of 300 mountains. Siyuan Baoding implies the friendship of the people of Jiangxi, Guangdong and Hong Kong to protect the source and bond with each other because of water.

Source protection stone

 The source protection stone was erected in 2017 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. On the stone tablet, "we must protect the source water of the Dongjiang River" is an inscription written by Premier Zhou Enlai. In 1963, Hong Kong suffered the worst drought in more than 60 years, and the lives of 3.5 million people were in trouble due to water shortage. In December of that year, Premier Zhou Enlai personally gave instructions and allocated special funds to complete the Dongshen water supply project in Shenzhen in 11 months, leading the water from Dongjiang River to Hong Kong, thus ending the long history of water shortage in Hong Kong. The shape of the source protection stone is like a palm, which means to protect the source by hand. The stone is 5.23 meters high, corresponding to the length of 523 kilometers in the Dongjiang River Basin and 3 meters wide, representing Jiangxi, Guangdong and Hong Kong; The base of the source protection stone is 4.65m long, which corresponds to the 465km distance from Sansan mountain to Hong Kong; The flower bed is round, which means "round and full".

Alocasia macrorrhiza

 The statue of Dishui Guanyin Bodhisattva was donated by believers in Jiangxi, Guangdong and Hong Kong on the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return in 2007. Its precious appearance is kind and solemn. Holding a clean bottle in the left hand and a seal in the right hand, it stands at the source of the Dongjiang River in the three hundred mountains. The total height of the statue is 11.69 meters, commensurate with the altitude of the main peak. The shape and technique of the statue conform to the meaning of Buddhism and have the characteristics of today's aesthetics, architecture, sculpture and Buddha art.

Siyuanting

 In 2007, it was built by the Hong Kong Shenzhen Association on the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. It was built at the same time as the Siyuan Baoding opposite it. The couplets on the columns on both sides of the pavilion, "the sweet spring in Hong Kong and Shenzhen flows thousands of miles from here; 300 rain and dew nourish all things, which is unforgettable", express the feelings of Hong Kong compatriots who yearn for the source of drinking water.

Sanbai mountains and forests

 The Sanbai mountains and forest sea is composed of more than three hundred mountains, with winding mountains, heavy mountains and obstacles, majestic and beautiful. The main peak is 1169 meters above sea level, the lowest is 320 meters above sea level, and the height difference is more than 800 meters. It is uninhabited for tens of miles, maintaining a primitive mountain scene. It has not been invaded by Quaternary glaciers. It is a paradise for the growth of relict plants in the world and an important node for the protection of biodiversity in China. Only in Ganzhou, China, is the world's unique tutuo Chimonanthus here. It is full of melancholy, swaying and fragrant mountains.

Wangtian waterfall

 Wangtian waterfall is located 4 kilometers northeast of fuaotang. In the deep mountain canyon, the waterfall flows down. Standing at the bottom of the waterfall and looking up at the waterfall, you can only see the blue sky and white clouds. It is really spectacular, so it is called "Wangtian waterfall".

Manyun plank road 

 Manyun trestle, with a total length of 3166m, including 80m glass trestle, is a cliff viewing trail with fuaotang back mountain as the ring line, connecting the main scenic spots such as rooftop, Tianyin Qisong, jianjianjian peak and glass bridge. It is also a very rare humanized trail in mountain scenic spots that can realize barrier free passage in the whole process. From a distance, it looks like a winding belt hanging in the mountains. When it is foggy, walking is like walking in the clouds, like a fairyland on earth.

Glass overpass 

 Glass overpass, with a total length of 330 meters, a width of 2.5 meters and a maximum drop of 198 meters, is the longest glass overpass in Jiangxi at present. The mountains are shrouded in clouds. The glass bridge across the two mountains seems to cross the clouds, just like a fairyland on earth.

Glass plank road 

 With a total length of 80m, the glass plank road not only has the stimulation of transparent glass, but also has the thrilling experience of 3D broken screen effect, which makes people tremble at the foot of the transparent, but also enjoy the pleasure of walking on the cloud.

Butterfly Grand Canyon

 Butterfly Grand Canyon (JIUQUXI), with a total length of about 6km, is a deep volcanic Grand Canyon formed by crustal rise and erosion structure undercutting. The canyon is well-developed, and the volcano rhyolite columnar joints can be seen everywhere, including the core scenic spots such as Qingxin waterfall, Nanhai Longtan, bosun spring and golden tortoise spring. The canyon is suitable for the reproduction and habitat of all kinds of butterflies. There are nearly 300 known butterfly species, including more than 10 rare species such as beaked Phoenix butterfly, Chinese wide tailed Phoenix butterfly and golden dress Phoenix butterfly.

Bosom friend spring

In the dense forest and deep streams, there is a huge stone screen shaped like a harp. There is a waterfall on both sides of the stone screen. The waterfall on one side has a drop of more than 10 meters, three ridges and three curves, and the waterfall on the other side has a drop of more than 100 meters. The two waterfalls have different styles. They are symphonic across the screen, like a bosom friend singing, leaving a beautiful legend of "fairies looking for a bosom friend with a piano".

Longtan

 The waves on the surface of the pool tumble, deep and bottomless, like a flying dragon in the abyss. The cliffs around the lake are abrupt and the terrain is strange. Being in it is like entering a fairyland.

Golden turtle drinking spring 

 Three giant stones shaped like turtles can be seen on the shallow river in the distance. The three turtles float on the water, chase each other and play in the water. They have both God and shape. It is said that three South China sea turtles went up the river from the South China Sea and turned into three vivid boulders here.
