Wang Xiao, assistant to the president of Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao Wen Wei Po Media Group and director of Ta Kung Pao Wen Wei Po International Communication Center, Cao Yinghua, director of the Department of Foreign Communication of the Publicity Department of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Yang Yougu, secretary of the County Committee and Second-level Inspector, attended the relevant activities. The students followed the route of the SanbaiMountain Ecological Civilization Education Practice Base, visiting iconic attractions such as the Source Protection Stone, the Siyuan Treasure Tripod, the Source Culture Museum, and the glass bridge. They also entered the Hakka walled house Dongshengwei to appreciate the unique Hakka architecture and folk culture.

During the event, the students listened attentively to the touching stories of the people in the source area who have loved and protected the source for dec

ades, and gained a deep understanding of the historical changes at the source of the Dongjiang River. In front of the source protection stone, everyone also

 poured the clear and sweet source water into bottles, preparing to take this precious gift symbolizing "source affection" and "patriotism" back to Hong Kon

g and pass it on to more citizens.

Interview with Wang Yinwei, a student from City University of Hong Kong: Not all my relatives and friends in Hong Kong may be aware of this connection. In the future, I must bring them here to experience it in person and am willing to protect this bond of blood ties with my youth.

In an interview with Liu Junyao, a student from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, I thought that the source of the water I drink comes from here, and I also thought of the efforts everyone has made to protect the source. I think they are very great and I am very grateful to them.

During the event, Yang Yougu, the county's Party secretary and a second-level inspector, addressed the visiting Hong Kong media students, saying, "I hope each of you can become an image ambassador, spokesperson and propagandist for the Three Hundred Mountains of Anyuan, and help the people in the source area have more opportunities for development."

During the event, a graduation ceremony for the "2025 Fan Changjiang Initiative - Hong Kong Media Students' Jiangxi Tour" was also held, and certificates of completion were awarded to the participating students. This event aims to guide Hong Kong media students to carry forward Mr. Fan Changjiang's spirit of "Journalists are always on the way", and to record the vivid practice and green ecology of Anyuan's development with their pens and cameras.
